Rehearsals: Saturdays, 9 AM – Noon | Starting January 3, 2025

Take a musical journey back to the golden age of MTV, pop-punk, and R&B grooves. Students will perform iconic songs from Nirvana, Green Day, No Doubt, Foo Fighters, Destiny’s Child, Outkast, Alicia Keys, Blink-182, and Paramore — celebrating the unforgettable sound that defined a generation.

Perfect for students who love the raw energy of guitars, live drums, and timeless melodies that made the world fall in love with music all over again.

OPTION 2:

Modern Pop: The Sound of Now
Rehearsals: Saturdays, 1 PM – 4 PM | Starting January 3, 2025

This show dives into the hits dominating today’s charts — blending pop, R&B, hip-hop, and electronic sounds. Students will perform songs by Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, and Imagine Dragons, exploring the creativity and confidence that define today’s music scene.
Ideal for students who want to bring current hits and performance flair to the stage.

About the Season
Both shows run weekly through mid-April, with final performances on April 12 and April 19, 2025, and a final rehearsal on Friday, April 18.

• Open to youth ages 8–18,
• All rehearsals take place at Somewhere Music School.
• Each program builds musicianship, teamwork, and stage presence — culminating in two fully produced live performances at Somewhere Works.
